was originally founded
on the banks of the Missouri River. Ask a local for directions
to Pikes Peak and hike the Indian trail to the top for a spectacular
view. Visit Peru State, The Campus of a Thousand Oaks and
view the 3 state area from the top of cemetery hill. As you
linger on the bench you may feel "on top of the world". A
nature walk or bike from the Heart
of Steamboat Trace to the nearby town of Brownville
could be the outdoor adventure you have been looking for.
