A Hill of a Town was originally founded on the banks of the Missouri River. Ask a local for directions to Pikes Peak and hike the Indian trail to the top for a spectacular view. Visit Peru State, The Campus of a Thousand Oaks and view the 3 state area from the top of cemetery hill. As you linger on the bench you may feel "on top of the world". A nature walk or bike from the Heart of Steamboat Trace to the nearby town of Brownville could be the outdoor adventure you have been looking for. Whatever the reason for your visit, we have lots to show you. Come by often and stay for a while.
