Webster County Museum

Red Cloud, named after the famous Ogalala Sioux Indian Chief, is also the girlhood home of Willa Cather, and where legends and folk lore come to life. Visit the legendary grave of Red Cloud’s daughter, Blue Cloud. The spectacular view from the grave site will spark an image of this area as it was over 200 years ago. The Republican River, great for canoeing, tubing and picnics reminds you of why this is still a famous hunting ground. Visit the Webster County Museum, railway station, the cemetery and enjoy the time along the Republican River Valley.
